About the Author
Sanjay Sharma is a former badminton champion who represented India in the sport internationally from 1975 to 1990. He was appointed as the Captain of the Indian team for the 1989 Asian Championship and 1990 Commonwealth Games and later served as the national coach from 1988 to 2003. He has won a record 19 Maharashtra state championship titles. He has also been a feature writer with numerous sports magazines and leading newspapers and was Chief Hindi commentator in Star Sports from 1992 till 1997 in Hong Kong. Later on, till 2018, he continued to commentate on international badminton events. He himself is a Parkinson's and Cavernoma survivor and is the author of four books
